The conclusion comes from a placebo-ordered clinical test leads by Plethora Solutions of London, England.
The 300 men in the study suffered from premature ejaculation. Their average time with ejaculation during the sex -- as measured by their associates with a stop watch -- were 36 seconds.
A third of the men used a pulverizer of placebo without the active substances. Two-thirds used the anaesthetic jet, called PSD502 (or TEMPLE in a preceding study), which delivers 7.5 milligrams of lidocane and 2.5 milligrams of prilocaine to the head of the penis (and inside the foreskin, for the men uncircumcised).
After three months, the pulverizers of placebo almost doubled their time with ejaculation at 66 seconds. But those which used the true jet delayed the orgasm during 228 seconds -- almost four minutes.
After three months of treatment of jet:
- 90% of the men in the group of treatment against 54% of the men in the group of placebo delayed ejaculation for more than one minute.
- 74% of the men in the group of treatment against 22% of the men in the group of placebo delayed ejaculation during more than two minutes.
- 62% of the treated men indicated that their orgasms were good or very goods. Only 20% known as that before treatment. In the group of placebo, the satisfaction of orgasm is descended.
- There was no serious side effect. 2.6% of the men in the group of treatment (and 1% of the men in the group of placebo) brought back treatment-related unfavourable events.
