The 'Globulyss' explain to children the gift of blood

Blood donations drop as they are still afraid. Faced with this situation, the establishment of french blood has launched an information program on the blood and donation awareness called 'Globulyss' of the same name as the cartoon series. This event which takes place in primary schools, aimed at children classes CE2, CM1 and CM2.
This year nearly 2000 classes will receive the program information and prevention, an opportunity to try to downplay the donation and transfusion. In practice, the objective is to explain to students what blood, how it flows, why it helps to save lives, how is this possible, and so on. To do so, the famous Globulyss hero cartoon 'Journey to the heart of life, were asked to provide teachers teaching assistance through a range of media play: a book, a game, a website, a CD-ROM interactive games, a video of 18 episodes of Globulyss and a practical guide on the blood.
Note that this operation is the result of an initiative by Guillaume Peres, who in 1995, when pharmacy student and intern at the University Hospital of Bordeaux, surprised at the lack of educational materials to explain the leukemia children, had the idea create Globulyss.
